Corrections to published figures are the most useful thing anyone sends us. If something here looks wrong, please tell us.
Particularly useful
- A figure that looks wrong or out of date. If you can point us at the official source, we will check it, correct it and update the checked date.
- Something described incorrectly. If you work for a school, a state agency, a plan administrator or a federal office and we have got your programme wrong, you will know before we do. Please tell us.
- Something we have not covered but should have.
- A problem using the site, including anything that makes it hard to use with assistive technology.
What we cannot help with
We are not a lender, a school or a financial aid office, and we have no access to anyone’s records. We cannot look up your application, check your loan balance, tell you whether you will be approved, or contact a school or servicer for you.
We also cannot give advice about your particular situation — financial, legal, tax or clinical. Please do not send us your Social Security number, FSA ID, account details or any health information about you or your child. If you do, we will delete it.
If you are worried about a child, speak to their school, their doctor or a qualified professional rather than waiting on a reply from us. If someone is in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
